Hotel Weitzer Graz - Centre Of Graz

The location of the hotel was perfect - within walking distance of a riverside modern art museum. The place had a quiet atmosphere.

I have stayed at the hotel a few times, whilst visiting my daughter at the University of Graz. It is very convenient for me and I find it friendly and relaxing. We have enjoyed the restaurant and the staff are courteous and helpful.

Room was considered "casual" but was roomy with a queen sized bed, a desk/tv console and a corner table. Our room was considerably larger than the other rooms that we observed as they were being clean.

Cheap and airy room with exceptionally comfortable beds, a mini bar fridge, climate control and a personal safe. Very welcoming staff throughout our stay. Fast check-in, late check-out. Had free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Location near to trams as well as restaurants and bars.

Room was big and clean, nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable and also very wide. View to the old town is nice as is the location next to it. Both saunas (steam bath and finnish sauna) were nice and next to each other.

Only treadmills and axercise bikes in the exercise room. No wlan in our room nor in the exercise room.

We thought the breakfast menu was excellent. A little bit expensive at 12 euros each.

The expelair did not work in the bathroom, although we reported it and also the rooms were a little bit dated.

Weitzer 'casual' means that you are staying in the oldest and less renovated part of the hotel (and not as mentioned smaller rooms and no breakfast), this part is not only not renovated but also lacks of cleanliness (chewing gum and panties on the floor for several days, aswell as 'grey' curtains in the rooms etc.) When raising it at the reception desk, the nice lady nodded and thanked for the information but nothing happened.

The location was the key for my choice, plus I had stayed there 3 times before.

I stayed in one of the refurbished rooms in the back of the hotel. Compared to the rooms in the front where I stayed before this was more budget style, not so elegant, with a small bathroom however the bed was very comfortable. I thought such rooms were too expensive.

Had a wonderful stay where I enjoyed the cozy vibe of our Economy Room and the unexpected treat of a well-stocked minibar. The sauna was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring, and I loved relaxing on the sun terrace. The only minor downside was that the bathroom could have been a bit bigger, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience! 😊
